How my thesis became a book

My love for books and craftsmanship left no doubt that I would bind my doctoral thesis myself.

After six months filled with diligent writing, reading, analysing, drawing, rewriting, typesetting and layouting, it was finally finished – the fruit of my time as a doctoral student.

So finally I was ready to guide the hard-earned content into its appropriate materiality, and for three days I disappeared to bind the first six books. Here I show you what happened during these three days.
